Anne McLeod has been involved with Independent Education for the past 20 years. In this role she has worked in early childhood centres affiliated with schools; developed centres to be attached to schools in the Sydney Metropolitan region; assessed teachers and had the opportunity to work cooperatively in developing strategic plans for Pre School - Year 12 Schools.
Anne's role in education diversified when she moved to Dubbo 7 years ago and has seen her work in numerous executive roles within the Independent Education sector.
Since the commencement of 2010 Anne has worked at CSU on a casual basis lecturing in the Bachelor of Education, Early Childhood and Primary course at Dubbo. In 2014 she accepted a 2 year contract with the Professional Experience Unit as Deputy Director, as well as a 1 year contract as Transition Coordinator for the Dubbo Campus. She is passionate to educate Early Childhood and School teachers who will be able to develop and implement programs that realise the potential of each of the individual children who will be placed in their care. In 2013 she continued her study towards her PhD investigating the junction of an enabling framework of professionalism from early childhood to school educators. She is particularly interested in using Podcasts to work through some of these very important concepts and ideas.
