The Colloquium for Ageing Perspectives and Spirituality was founded in 2001 as the Centre for Ageing and Pastoral Studies, Charles Sturt University. In 2017 CAPS became part of the ACC&C, Charles Sturt University. CAPS supports research, education and policy development in ageing, pastoral studies and related ethical issues. It is multidisciplinary, catering to the needs of health professionals, ministers of religion, pastoral workers and older people, and seeks to examine the process of ageing within the context of meaning in life and well-being.

The Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture is an ecumenical body reflecting the faith and background of approximately 61 per cent of the Australian population. It is located on a five-hectare site on the edge of the Parliamentary Triangle in Canberra. Wisdom for the common good is what the Centre is all about and it undertakes its work in four key areas a) encounter and dialogue between Christians and with those of other faiths and no faiths b) pursuit of creativity in the arts and sciences c) promotion of institutional resilience and ethical leadership d) fostering of wisdom in civil society. As a partner of the 8th International Conference on Ageing and Spirituality, the ACC&C is looking forward to welcoming attendees on site for the pre-conference workshops on 27 October 2019.

The Centre for Public and Contextual Theology (PaCT), Charles Sturt University is focused on public and contextually informed theological research and engagement with issues of national and global significance. PaCT has a history of collaborative research by scholars of many religious traditions and a commitment to future inclusion and expansion. Situated in the national capital, PaCT aims to contribute to the public good, in Australia and beyond, through research, scholarly publications and public engagement.
