To examine changing trends in funerals, loss and remembrance on the Lower Eyra Peninsula region of South Australia, with local women being interviewed to ascertain their views on death rituals and funerals.
I began my University studies as a very mature aged distance education student (I live at Port Lincoln in South Australia) and my sole aim was to achieve a Bachelor of Arts degree. I enjoyed this so much that I went on to complete Honours Class 1. Not wishing to abandon my University studies, I became a PhD candidate and have enjoyed immensely, my journey.
