Adelaide Anglicans and the Gospels: towards a transformative Gospel literacy
A mixed-method investigation of what a particular population of lay Anglicans know about the content of the Gospels, how they find meaning in these documents, what difference their knowledge and understanding of the Gospels make in their lives and whether their engagement with the Gospels makes any difference in the lives of others. Apart from developing a provisional definition of transformative Gospel literacy the project will also focus on developing and validating unique quantitative and qualitative instruments and indices associated with this area of empirical theological investigation.
