Profile

Harry worked as a professional journalist for more than 20 years in both print and broadcast sectors. He held reporting, editing and production positions in major metropolitan daily newspapers, regional/rural publications and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. During the past two decades Harry has been a full-time lecturer in journalism with CSU Bathurst.

Harry’s teaching covers all aspects of journalism, with special interests in broadcast, online and multimedia reportage and production.

Research

Harry’s research interests cover various areas of history, including media development. He has undertaken research and conference presentations on topics such as print media election coverage, visual aspects of news presentation and news coverage of environmental issues.
