Sarah taught in rural Victorian Primary Schools for 25 years, moving to La Trobe University to lecture in Education for five years before successfully obtaining a position in the School of Education at Charles Sturt University in 2017.
Her academic interests are in STEM education, Early Years literacy and music. She is doctoral candidate and her research focuses on the role of assessment in the teaching of science in Victorian primary schools.
