Prior to joining Charles Sturt Bruce spent thirty-eight years in the NSW Public Service in the fields of health and welfare, and retired from Charles Sturt in 2004. Bruce has particular interests in out-of-home-care, legislation as a casework tool, indigenous self-determination and management. He is a graduate of Charles Sturt, graduating in social work in 1998.
