Adjunct Lecturer in Social Work

Prior to joining Charles Sturt Bruce spent thirty-eight years in the NSW Public Service in the fields of health and welfare, and retired from Charles Sturt in 2004. Bruce has particular interests in out-of-home-care, legislation as a casework tool, indigenous self-determination and management. He is a graduate of Charles Sturt, graduating in social work in 1998. Bruce completed his PhD in 2005, researching the understanding social workers have of social justice

Bruce teaches in Field Education and Social work theory subjects.
