Megan has been actively working in the field of equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) since 2016. In 2020, Megan was a founding member of a multi-organisational research team that collaboratively developed and continues to deliver the Intersectionality Walk, which seeks to foster systemic change via experiential engagement. Prior to her work in EDI, Megan was employed as a research scientist, focusing on the biological impacts of nanoparticles in consumer products, viewing product innovation through the lens of biological and environmental life-cycle safety and sustainability, barriers to technology transfer, and credibility in the public good sphere. Megan also lectured in Molecular Biology and Microbiology at Deakin University whilst completing her PhD.Adjuncts
