Profile

Garth Norris is a Charles Sturt University graduate, having completed a BA/BSW (Hons) in 2001. He commenced teaching at the Port Macquarie campus of CSU in February 2012 and has previously taught counselling programs through Melbourne's Cairnmillar Institute. Garth has filled a broad range of social work roles in direct service delivery and management within Human Services during the past 13 years. These include working in disability services, child and family services, counselling and aged care. He has also filled project roles with the Local Health District and undertaken policy work in the fields of health, ageing and community services in a Federal Parliamentary office.

Awards

Garth was awarded the University Medal at CSU in 2001.
