Jared Van Duinen lectures in world history, medieval history and the theory and method of history. His research interests include imperial and colonial history, sports history, and literary history and he has published in all these fields. His book, The British World and an Australian National Identity: Anglo-Australian Cricket, 1860-1901, was published by Palgrave in 2018. He is currently working on a work of historical fiction exploring the relationship between history and myth.
