Bachelor of Islamic Studies Samiha is the Outreach and Studies of Religion (SoR) Coordinator at ISRA, a role she has held for the past four years. In this capacity, she leads the design and delivery of educational programs aligned with the Studies of Religion curriculum, fostering meaningful engagement with Islamic perspectives across diverse audiences. She has presented to thousands of students, collaborated with hundreds of schools across NSW, and both facilitates and participates in interfaith dialogue initiatives with religious and academic institutions. Samiha also serves as a First Year Academic Mentor for CISAC students, supporting their transition into tertiary study and helping to build a strong academic foundation. Samiha graduated with a Bachelor of Islamic Studies from Charles Sturt University, where she was awarded the University Medal in recognition of her outstanding academic achievement. Her studies included advanced Arabic coursework, and she has continued to develop her proficiency through further study with UMA and Al Firdaus. She is deeply committed to advancing Islamic education within the broader community and regularly facilitates grassroots learning initiatives and public talks. Her teaching experience includes volunteering as a Qur’an and Islamic Studies educator at ISRA’s Youth College and Qur’an Academy, as well as serving as a Religious Studies teacher with IWWA. In addition to her work at ISRA, Samiha contributes to curriculum development as a Syllabus Writer for ISRE, where she develops tailored, scripture-based educational resources for Muslim students in NSW public schools.
