My professional career has focused on curriculum and student learning. This has been the focus of publications, research and professional work with state and national curriculum authorities.

I have supervised a number of doctoral students, been sub dean of education at Charles Sturt University in both graduate studies and research.

Administratively I was Head of School at the School of Education, Wagga campus, for over 5 years and Head of Campus at Charles Sturt Ontario.

I started technology education programs at Charles Sturt, including the innovative Accelerated program (now industry entry). These programs have been extremely successful and have a very high reputation with employers and other faculties of education throughout Australia.

As an adjunct I will continue to do some teaching and other special programs as required.

  • Research into students learning and curriculum models.

I have taught in subjects across the K-12 range in both science education and technology education. In addition I have taught adolescent development, teaching and learning and practicum subjects.

My most recent teaching has been in technology education, particularly curriculum.
