Kasey worked as a primary school teacher before she joined Charles Sturt in 2019. Initially, she worked in the Academic Skills Team before she joined the Workplace Learning team. In Workplace Learning, Kasey combined her passion for supporting Initial Teacher Education students as both Lecturer and Workplace Learning Coordinator.

As a Lecturer in Education, Kasey teaches into the primary professional experience and inclusive education subjects.

Kasey is a Doctoral candidate and her research interest is using simulation technologies as a tool to support Initial Teacher Education students with their professional experience opportunities.
