Arifa Rahman is an Academic Fellow for teaching and research at the School of Education in the Faculty of Arts and Education at Charles Sturt University. She completed her second master's from Flinders University as an Endeavour Scholarship recipient in 2016. She is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society for her outstanding results in the field of Special Education at Flinders University. Her PhD program is funded by Charles University and the Australian Government Research Training Program. She completed her first master's degree from the University of Dhaka, specialising in Educational Psychology and Guidance and a Bachelor of Education (science education and early years) from the same university as a high achiever.

Arifa has specialist experience in early childhood education, primary education, educational technology, play-based learning, inclusion and diversity and qualitative research methodology using theoretical frameworks. Along with teaching and research, she was a teacher training professional and educational consultant for national and international organisations in Bangladesh. Charles Sturt University Academic Fellow Arifa Rahman has been working as a teaching, training, and research professional since 2010 in Bangladesh and Australia.
