Dmitry graduated with an MEd from Oryol State University and holds a PhD from the Institute of Mathematics, Russian Academy of Sciences (Ufa Scientific Centre, Russia). He has held research and teaching positions at UNSW and Academia Sinica in Taiwan. Dmitry joined CSU as a Lecturer in Mathematics and Statistics in 2011.

Dmitry’s research interests include integrable systems, differential and difference equations, and mathematical modelling. His research has ranged from problems in mathematical physics and the theory of integrable equations to interdisciplinary applications of mathematics and statistics. Alongside his research, Dmitry has a strong interest in mathematics education and the use of technology in teaching, including the development of automated and individualised assessment using computer algebra.
