Fiona Collins is a Lecturer in Mathematics and Education in the School of Education on the Wagga Wagga campus. Fiona has extensive experience in a variety of school contexts, including both secondary and primary schools. She is passionate about developing and nurturing a love of mathematics in people of all ages and is dedicated to sharing her knowledge, skills and experiences with others.

Fiona's doctoral research and subsequent publications are centred on strengths approaches, professional learning and mathematics education.

Fiona's PhD research examined Recognising, communicating and building on: Exploring strengths in mathematics in Kindergarten. Her doctoral studies were supervised by Associate Professor Angela Fenton and Professor Amy MacDonald.

Fiona teaches a range of curriculum methods subjects in primary and secondary mathematics and science.
