Genaro Oliveira has over two decades of experience teaching and researching across multiple continents. His work revolves around answering two fundamental questions: 1. how to craft engaging and inclusive learning experiences in HSIE/social sciences education? 2. and how to become an effective teacher amidst the constantly evolving digital landscape of education?

In his current role as a Lecturer at Charles Sturt University, Genaro is responsible for teacher education curriculum design and delivery, particularly in the areas of HSIE/social sciences. Prior to his tenure in Australia, Genaro held positions at Massey University (NZ), the University of Auckland (NZ), Fiji National University (Fiji Islands), and Faculty of Technology (Brazil), where he played a pivotal role in shaping teacher education programs.

Genaro's dedication to advancing the field of education is reflected in his solid international publication record, covering diverse topics such as social sciences education, decolonizing teacher education, and digital pedagogies. His expertise has also been recognized through numerous grants and invitations to speak at conferences and symposiums worldwide.
