Paul Grover is Lecturer in Education, Charles Sturt University. Paul joined the Faculty of Arts and Education in a continuing lecturing position in 2011. In 2012 Paul was Pathways Coordinator for the Diploma of General Studies and Course Coordinator for the Bachelor of Educational Studies degree program from 2013-2017.

Paul previously enjoyed a career as a secondary English and History teacher, and Head Teacher, for 35 years from 1977 to 2011. Paul worked with the NSW Board of Studies (now NESA) for more than 15 years as a syllabus committee member, HSC examination Supervisor of Marking, Coordinating Supervisor of Marking and HSC English Examination Assessor.

Paul has written, edited and contributed to an extensive range of secondary school English and History course books, resource books, tertiary textbooks and online learning resources for students and teachers, as well as contributing to the professional journals of the English Teachers Association of NSW, the History Teachers Association of NSW and professional websites. Paul has presented at regional, state and national conferences on literacy teaching in the 21st century, Indigenous education resources, creative English teaching, assessment and the role of the Head Teacher in secondary schools.

In 2011 Paul was awarded the NSW Professional Teachers' Council Award for Outstanding Professional Service, and in 2011 received the NSW Department of Education and Communities Quality Teaching Award. In 2012 Paul was awarded Charles Sturt University Faculty of Education Award for Academic Excellence. In 2014 Paul was awarded the Pearson/Australian Teacher Education Association Teacher Educator of the Year Award. In 2016 Paul was awarded the Charles Sturt University Faculty of Education Award for Leadership Excellence.
