
Katrina has a Bachelor of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New South Wales. Katrina's post graduate study has been in the fields of; Social Work supervision and Learning and Teaching within Higher Education.
Katrina's professional practice experience is primarily in the field of child and family welfare, and health. Katrina has extensive experience working with Indigenous communities within Western NSW. Katrina has held roles in; case management, group facilitation, individual counselling and management.
Katrina joined Charles Sturt University as an academic staff member in 2013. Katrina is an active member of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
Katrina teaches Social Work Theory and Practice subjects at the 2nd and 3rd year levels. Katrina also teaches the first year subject, 'Fields of Practice', as well as, subjects in Case Management and Child and Family Welfare. Katrina also contributes to teaching within Social Work Workplace Learning.
