Dr Thomas Montefiore is a postdoctoral fellow in Philosophy at Charles Sturt University researching ethical issues concerning Artificial Intelligence. Thomas has published widely on ethical issues concerning emerging technologies, such as video games, lab-grown meat, virtual reality, social robots, social media and AI.

More broadly, Thomas is interested in topics in moral philosophy, epistemology, normativity, philosophy of action, philosophy of AI, animal ethics, media ethics and early modern philosophy.
