Associate Professor Sheena Elwick (Program Lead) works within the School of Education at Charles Sturt University. She has worked as a teacher, teacher educator and leader in a range of educational settings for 20+ years including primary school, long day care and mobile childcare. Sheena was a member of the national consortium involved in the 2022 Updates to the Belonging, Being and Becoming: The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia and My Time Our Place: Framework for School Age Care, where she developed a keen interest in trauma-informed practice and its implementation in ECE settings.
