Peter Walker is Principal of United Theological College and Lecturer in the School of Theology. Peter has studied history, philosophy, and theology at the University of NSW, McGill University, and Charles Sturt University. He has been a Visiting Fellow at Dunmore Lang College, President of the Australian Capital Territory Council of Churches, Assistant Director of the Charles Sturt University Centre for Public and Contextual Theology, Acting Director of the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture, and is currently Assistant Editor of the International Journal of Public Theology. Peter teaches subjects in the history of Christianity, with particular research interest in Christianity in early Modern Europe, Christian-Muslim engagement, and the Renaissance theologian Nicholas of Cusa. Peter is a Minister of the Word in the Uniting Church in Australia.
