Peter Walker (BA Hons, BTh, PhD) is Principal of United Theological College and lectures in the Charles Sturt University School of Theology. Peter has studied at the University of NSW, McGill University, and Charles Sturt University. He teaches ethics and theology, and has research interest in social ethics, climate change, interfaith relations, and Renaissance philosopher Nicholas of Cusa. Peter is co-editor of Theology on a Defiant Earth: Seeking Hope in the Anthropocene (Lexington Press, 2022). Peter is a Minister of the Word in the Uniting Church in Australia. He has been President of the Australian Capital Territory Council of Churches, Director of the Centre for Public and Contextual Theology, Acting Director of the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture, and is on the editorial board of the International Journal of Public Theology.Teaching Staff
