Peter Walker is Principal of United Theological College and Lecturer in the Charles Sturt University School of Theology. Peter has studied history and theology at the University of NSW, McGill University, and Charles Sturt University. He has been a Visiting Fellow at Dunmore Lang College, President of the Australian Capital Territory Council of Churches, Assistant Director of the Charles Sturt University Centre for Public and Contextual Theology, Acting Director of the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture, and is currently Assistant Editor of the International Journal of Public Theology. Peter teaches Christology and Christian theological interpretations of other faiths, and has particular research interests in theology and climate, Christian theologies of religion, and the Renaissance theologian Nicholas of Cusa. Peter is co-editor of the forthcoming book with Lexington Press titled Theology on a Defiant Earth: Seeking Hope in the Anthropocene. Peter is a Minister of the Word in the Uniting Church in Australia.
