Michelle O’Connor has a professional background in broadcast media.  She is interested in using sound to tell a story and is an experienced audio producer and radio broadcaster.  Michelle has worked in the community radio sector as a presenter, producer, program coordinator, trainer and station manager.  She has also worked on-air in commercial radio.  Michelle’s experience extends to video production and she has worked on location and in the studio for video based projects.

Michelle joined Charles Sturt University in 2003 and has worked in teaching, management and technical support roles during this time.  She joined the School of Communication & Creative Industries as Lecturer, Communication in 2018 and is now with the School of Information and Communication Studies.
