BEc (Management), BEd (English Education), MSc (Agribusiness Management), MEd (TESOL), PhD (Applied Linguistics), MIM (Information Management and Librarianship) Anita is a Lecturer in Information Studies at Charles Sturt University. Prior to joining CSU, Anita spent her career as a professional in the academic library sector. The roles she has held in the industry include subject librarian, learning skills advisor, library research and learning coordinator, library liaison coordinator, and library learning services manager. She is of a multidisciplinary background, with PhD (Applied Linguistics) and MEd (TESOL) from Monash University, and MIM (Information Management and Librarianship) from University of South Australia. Her research areas in the Information Studies domain include work-integrated learning (WIL), professional identity, and information literacy. She is currently pursuing her second PhD, investigating placement programs in the libraries, archives, and records sector. Anita’s research interests include information literacy, professional identity, and work-integrated learning (WIL), including but not limited to placements.
