Victoria is a communication specialist with experience in developing and implementing communication strategy for the local government, corporate agencies, higher education, and the not-for-profit sectors. She has a background in journalism and considerable experience in corporate communication, as a media advisor and in issues and crisis management. Victoria has twice received the NSW Local Government Dougherty Award for Communication Excellence for her management of campaigns in change communication development of major events.

Beginning her academic career at Charles Sturt University in 2011, Victoria has taught in the areas of organisational communication, strategic communication, event management, public relations practice and marketing.

I am passionate about sharing experiences and insight with emerging professionals to explore their individual potential and mentoring graduates through their journey into professional practice.”

Victoria has taught Public Relations Strategy and Tactics, Communication Management, Events Management and several subjects in the School of Marketing. Victoria is currently subject coordinator for the Bathurst Campus internship program subject COM321 and enjoy the chance to connect students with industry and create opportunities for shared learning.
