After completing a Graduate Certificate in Arts and Social Science Research with Charles Sturt I felt there was scope for deeper research in my subject matter. My supervisor encouraged me greatly throughout this qualification, and we recognised that there is greater scope for this research through doctoral studies. As I felt a connection with my principal supervisor and experienced a high level of support studying with Charles Sturt this is a natural progression in my research journey.
I am also fortunate to have two supportive co-supervisors from the School of Education and the School of Social Works and Art creating a great interdisciplinary team to support me through my PhD journey.
