What is Workplace Learning (WPL) and why is it important?

Workplace Learning (WPL) is the term Charles Sturt University uses to describe “students’ active participation and purposeful engagement with professional roles and responsibilities in real world professional environments” (CSU, 2017). All universities in Australia are guided by the National Strategy on Work Integrated Learning in University Education.
