Teaching Progression

During this professional experience placement teacher education students will need to move through the following Progression of Teaching for EPT510 3 Week /Progression of Teaching for EPT510 4 Week . The teaching responsibilities are the suggested minimum requirement and may need to be adjusted in response to the needs, context, development and progress of the teacher education student.

Daily Feedback Sheets

You are required to fill out a Lesson Feedback Sheet (download sheet) for lessons undertaken by teacher education students throughout their placement. These need to be signed by you and teacher education student.

Review at Mid-Placement

At the mid-point of the placement, you are asked to engage with the teacher education student in a collaborative review of their progress to date with reference to the Professional Experience Report in order to identify demonstrated strengths and areas for further development through the placement. The date and progress are noted as part of the documentation on the front page of the report.

Any Concerns

Should there be any concerns regarding the teacher education student's progress, please complete the Notification of Concern Form as a matter of urgency and email it to the Workplace Learning Team at FOAE-WPL@csu.edu.au. If there are no concerns this form does not need to be returned.

Completion of Placement

The Professional Experience Report (please download and save this report prior to editing) is to be completed at the conclusion of the placement.

It is recommended that the report is fully completed on the final day of the Teacher Education Students placement. The signatures must be entered sequentially as the report is 'locked down' once the Supervising Teacher signature is added.  PLEASE ENSURE that the Principal and Teacher Education Student sign this report prior to the Supervising Teacher, as editing the Final Report after this point is not possible. After obtaining all signatures, please email the report to the Teacher Education Student, who will submit Report through the Electronic Assignment Submission Tracking System (EASTS).

To ensure efficient payment of the supervising teacher, school or service, please ensure that by the final day of the placement you send in all appropriate forms as specified below.
