Steve Clarke is a Professor in the School of Social Work and Arts and a Senior Research Associate of the Wellcome Centre for Ethics and Humanities, the Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics, and the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Oxford. He is currently a chief investigator on an Australian Research Council discovery grant project on 'Religion, Pluralism, and Healthcare Practice: A Philosophical Assessment'. He was lead investigator on two previous Australian Research Council discovery grants. Steve is the author of two books, co-editor of five books, and the author of over eighty journal articles and chapters in books. His papers have appeared in such journals as the American Philosophical Quarterly, the British Journal for the Philosophy of Science, Synthese and the Canadian Journal of Philosophy.
