Ageing, Care, and health and Wellbeing

This stream focuses on making a difference to the wellbeing of older people, particularly those who live in rural communities across Australia. We work in partnership with industry in health and aged care in the design and delivery of rural health supports for older adults.

Our main focus is on:

• exploring models of care (paid and unpaid) in rural communities
• exploring innovative workforce models related to rural aged care workforce
• supporting the mental health and wellbeing of older adults and their caregivers;
• co-designing an interdisciplinary community wellbeing clinic for older people in Port Macquarie.
