The Australian Pagan community has a created objects and records that captures the history of the development of a decentralised, personal religious practice and grass roots community. This proposal outlines research intended to identify the factors that influence the collection, preservation and making accessible this material created by this community, since it’s emergence in the 1970s. Using a constructivist grounded theory methodology, informed by postmodern and constructivist philosophical positions, the expected outcome of this study is the development of a theory that contributes to scholarship focused on the archiving of decentralised, faith-based community history and contemporary discussions regarding community archives.
Having completed my Masters in Applied Science (Library and Information Management) and then a Graduate Certificate in Arts and Social Sciences, CSU was the natural place to continue my journey into archives and information management. CSU is a kind and supportive environment and this made a big impact on choosing CSU.
