Wellbeing and Mental Health Group

Wellbeing and Mental Health Research Australia aims to provide researchers with a highly supported collaborative space to develop wellbeing and mental health research that is insightful, inclusive and inspiring.

Our primary goal is to develop research that has a meaningful and wide-ranging impact at various societal levels including improving individual wellbeing and mental health outcomes, facilitating empirically-based approaches to developing wellbeing and mental health at an organisational level (government and non-government), and actively influencing government policy regarding wellbeing and mental health.

The group aims to facilitate peer learning and development opportunities, provide mentorship of early career researchers, and foster the peer review of research ideas, draft manuscripts and draft grant applications. Longer-term objectives include developing links with other research institutions and with government and non-government organisations.

Our members aim to undertake and publish high quality research which creates new knowledge, informs processes and policies, and provides solutions for wellbeing and mental health nationally and internationally.
