Alignment with Chales Sturt University’s research narratives

The Religiously-Informed Resilience and Wellbeing (RRW) Research Group supports Charles Sturt University’s key research themes of Flourishing Communities, Resilient People, and Sustainable Environments. RRW’s research examines how faith and spirituality contribute to personal and community wellbeing, helping people live meaningful and connected lives.

  • Flourishing Communities: RRW promotes understanding and cooperation between diverse faith and cultural groups, encouraging inclusion and strong social connections.
  • Resilient People: The group studies how religious and spiritual beliefs support people in facing challenges and maintaining hope, strength, and purpose.
  • Sustainable Environments: RRW explores faith-based approaches to care for the environment and to build ethical and sustainable futures.

Through these areas, RRW contributes to Charles Sturt University’s goal of improving social and spiritual wellbeing across communities.
