Principal Supervisor: Brendon Hyndman
Co-Supervisor: Matthew Winslade
There is a growing interest within public health research, policy, and practice to explore the vital role of Sun Safety Education in schools, approached through the dynamic lens of the socioecological model. This preventive strategy offers a promising pathway to improved health outcomes. By delving into research that is underpinned by the socioecolgical model interwoven through behavioral science, climate impacts, skin health, and innovative school-based policy, as well as leveraging digital technologies and policy frameworks, practitioners can effectively harness these valuable resources. This collaboration not only enriches the educational experience but also empowers communities to nurture healthier, more informed future generations under the guiding principles of sociological insight.
I have been a sessional academic for 5 years and the opportunity to accept a Research Fellowship was an opportunity for me to begin my PhD.
