The School of Information Studies, with a respected history of academic excellence, offers a suite of ALIA recognised professional degrees for information studies and teacher librarianship:
- Bachelor of Information Studies (with specialisations)
- Master of Information Studies (with specialisations)
- Master of Education (Teacher Librarianship)
- Master of Education (Knowledge Networks and Digital Innovation)
- Master of Information Leadership
The first three of those above offer professional placement experiences. The overall objective of these is for students to learn by observation, discussion and participation about how an information agency works. Placement hosts provide opportunities for students to apply their theoretical knowledge in actual work situations, with emphasis being placed on demonstrating capacity to work at a professional level.
